So I totally missed posting anything in July...
I can't even remember what happened last month except I think I worked way too much and took too little time off.
Lame. Except...I'm saving my days off for something very special. I will post about that very soon.

I had a sushi making class in July sometime.

I now am a sushi making wonder.
The chef was totally impressed by my sushi-making skills. He even offered me a job after I won the sushi-making contest that we had among the students.
What can I say...maybe I was Asian in my past life. I definitely have Asian taste buds (says my Singaporean friend.)
This last weekend I ran my 2nd half marathon in Logan, Utah.
It was the Top of Utah Half and it was a great race and a good run. I was pleased with how well I did.
The training and the race was all done solo.
(Hum the Chariots of Fire theme song here...)

I leave this Friday for 10 wonderful days of no work and all play.
I've been itching for another trip and this one should do just the trick. I will be sure to take LOTS of photos and will report back how it all goes.
