Summer Concerts

Kelly Clarkson came to Utah Valley University in June. I had seen Kelly earlier this year when she toured with Reba. She was wonderful and thought it would be fun to see her again. She's amazing live and we were not disappointed. Here's a few pictures:

Obviously, we didn't have the best seats, but with the screen, it all worked out. :)

We got rained on a bit, but it was totally worth it. We even got to see a double rainbow. You'll notice that Kelly is at the end of those rainbows.

George Strait came to Salt Lake last weekend. He hasn't been to Utah for over 10 years, so me and a bunch of friends went to see the show. Because it's a country concert, AND because it's George Strait, we made sure we had our hats and jeans for the show. So who cares if it's 100 degrees?? If you are a country fan, you grin and bare it. : )

George was amazing!! Good times were had by all!

Moved to Bountiful

So...I finally moved to Bountiful. It's been in the works for quite some time. I graduated in December and have been working in Salt Lake for the past 6 months. The commute from Orem to downtown Salt Lake was a killer. Fortunately I was able to take the bus a lot of the time.

A friend of mine that works at the Church Office Building bought a condo in Bountiful. Cutest place ever, but 4 days after she bought it, we had a flood. Well...when they were cleaning up after the flood, they found mold, from a flood, 4 years earlier. Not something you want to hear 4 days after buying a place. Luckily the HOA (Home Owners Association) took care of most of the expenses. The mold wasn't deadly so they ripped the bad parts out and made the needed repairs. One month later, I finally got to move in.

My commute takes me like 20 minutes on a busy day. Compare that to the 50 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes it took from Orem. It was about time. I was suffering from severe road rage.
